Our Check & Change plans come in two variations and are perfect if you want to have your healthy adult dog’s current nutrition checked over and receive a tailored plan with recommendations for your dog’s individual needs. You may be wondering if there are higher quality foods on the market that are the same price or even cheaper than your current dog food - all food producers promote theirs to be the very best, but we need to look beyond the marketing to see what is really inside. It is quite a large task even for the trained eye to take apart a dog food and understand if the ingredients are high quality and species-appropriate and if these ingredients go above and beyond having our dogs survive and actually enable them lead happy, healthy and fulfilling lives.

You may also be considering transitioning to feeding a raw (BARF) or home-cooked diet or maybe you would like to explore options like nutritional supplements and food toppers to upgrade their diet and cover their individual needs appropriately. We have tried and tested lots of different feeding methods and supplements with our own dog Ruby and know how important it is to get things right for the individual dog in front of us. Like us, you are probably also interested in providing a healthy diet for your dog to give them a long and healthy life with as little reliance on medication as possible - feeding for health and longevity are definitely topics we can discuss together

Check & Change is all about fine-tuning and upgrading your dog’s diet and regardless of how you feed (kibble, wet, raw or home-cooked) you might want to get recommendations for better suited new foods. We can also upgrade individual plans with supplements and food-toppers to round out their nutrition. We can integrate some specific supports for your dog’s size, energy levels and life stage, for example for joints and mobility.

Are you considering feeding a raw or home-cooked diet? We are here to support you on this journey. Like the basic Check & Change, this plan is all about fine-tuning your dog’s diet, but includes further support to allow your dog to transition across to a fresh-feeding model - this is done gradually to allow your dog to adapt and we build in an extra session to support this process and allow more time to explain your new plan and feeding method. Fresh feeding can open up a whole world of opportunities for feeding and we are here to give you the right building blocks so you can create a complete and balanced diet for your dog at home with confidence.
